Are you looking for Academic & Examination Calendar of B.Tech / B.Pharmacy 1st year (Regular) for the academic year 2013-2014. Here I am providing the detailed schedules of academic activity and examinations time schedules. This scheduled is applicable for the students admitted in 2013-2014.
Academic Calendar will give entire year planning for the class work, holidays, internal & external examinations dates. All the JNTU affiliated college must follow the following schedule in B.Tech / B.Pharmcy course.

Orientation Programme : All the students should report for orientation progrmme, on the day of orientation briefing will be given to the students and parents on B.Tech course, Course pattern, JNTU rules and regulations i.e., attendance rules, credit rules etc.,
Instructions period : During the instructions period the faculty will teach the subjects and covered the syllabus required for each mid examinations. In the 1st spell instructions 1st unit, 2nd spell instructions 2nd & 3rd units, 3rd spell of instructions 4th & 5th unit syllabus covered before commencement of each mid examinations.
Mid Examinations : 3 mid term examinations will be conducted during the 1st year for 25 marks each mid exam. Each mid term examination contains subjective, objective7 one assignments. Objective examination & subjective examination conducted for 10 marks each. Objective examination will contains multiple choice questions, fill in the blanks & true or false questions and it will conducted in 20 minutes. Essay type examination conducted in the duration of 60 minutes for 10 marks. Essay type exam contains 4 full questions, out of 2 questions have to be answered, each carry 5 marks. 5 marks are allocated for assignments as prescribed by the subject teacher.
Average of the 3 mid term examinations will be considered for awarding final 25 marks for each subject.
